These aromas set high expectations, which are initially met upon first tasting. The palate begins broadly and richly, suggesting a depth of flavours. However, this richness doesn't sustain, as the wine soon reveals a thinner profile with a disappointingly short aftertaste. Despite this shortfall in the palate's development, the wine retains a certain appeal. It's friendly and shows signs of thoughtful craftsmanship, with a degree of complexity likely attributable to its later disgorgement.
